Desktop Channel™ engages and entertains the consumer through a patent pending conduit that doesn't utilize the e-mail client or Internet browser, which means that it can't be blocked or filtered. This also means that Desktop Channel™ doesn't get lost in the e-mail inbox. Nor does this proprietary mechanism require personal information from the consumer for privacy.
Installation
1) Go to the download link at the bottom of this page. When you click on it, you will be asked to save "DesktopChannel.exe" to your hard drive. It's easiest to place it on your desktop and then you can delete it after installation. Make sure you choose "Save" and not open.
2) Double-click on "DesktopChannel.exe" to start installation and choose the default responses to the install screens. You can also choose what time of day you would like to receive your daily page. Desktop Channel™ does not replace your screen saver or desktop wallpaper. In a couple steps you are done with the installation.
Operation
When Desktop Channel™ appears on your desktop, at the time you have chosen, you can enjoy the daily page and then hit any key on your keyboard to exit or visit any of the links within to visit a website, launch rich media or applications. You'll also notice a branded icon on your desktop to access the Desktop Channel Demo at any time.
Desktop Channel™ complies with the Federal Trade Commission's definition of spyware by not tracking Internet behavior, keystrokes, surreptitiously installing malicious software and by providing an easy and direct uninstall process.
